A BEACON OF LIGHT IN CULVER CITY
Temple Akiba is a reform congregation located on the west side of Los Angeles County in Culver City. In fact, Temple Akiba is the only reform congregation in the Culver-Palms/Westchester area of Los Angeles from Santa Monica south to Redondo Beach including Marina del Rey, Venice, Torrance and Manhattan Beach.

Temple Akiba membership currently consists of over 320 families. We provide services and programs designed to fulfill every need. These include our ever expanding Nursery and Religious Schools, Summer Day and Resident Camps, Havurot, stimulating Adult Education programs, Family and Adult Retreats, Family and Tot Shabbats, uplifting High Holy Day services, a huge Purim Carnival, our famous Kabbalat Shabbat services, and so much more! Our Temple Sisterhood creates multiple events throughout the year to spark your interest with topics that include social action, art, politics, comedy and festivals.

Whether you join us for Shabbat or just come by to say hello, we extend our hearts and souls. Our mission is to honor the traditions that have been sacred to this congregation as we move into an exciting future. We invite you to help us bring more Light and Goodness into this world!

The Boys & Girls Club of Venice is one of over 4,300 Boys & Girls Clubs nationwide. Upholding national guidelines for program content, delivery and quality, a growing number of Boys & Girls Clubs now provide programs over three million youth across our country and in military bases overseas.
